Introducing The ReHearsal House News Channel: The News From A New Lens.

Through Much Failures and weaknesses And yea death, The Lord has graciously (been pleased) to work his Wonders, Again and Again! And bits and pieces of what he has done, we dare to weakly yet firmly (with a bold confidence in Christ our Lord Alone) declare in this most little of papers- that it is needful in these last days to gain only true light from the local and international news! For There are all sorts of voices in the News Today, And everyone, almost everyone in this age, is compelled to hear the News! You Turn off the Tv, there it is on a pop up message you receive on your phone! You think the answer lies in taking a quit from the idolatrous world of social media, then, you find, somehow, through someone else, one means or the other, the voices, the message in the news, sits right there mixed up with every conversation you're having! Yet, there is this one thing, we do well to glean from any and every news, that is "The only good news in the news", it is the Ever Breaking News; it is a reminder so gentle yet absolutely firm and it is put most simply: "God Rules and Reigns Sovereignly Over All Affairs of His Universe, And Yes, Over All!" Yes, The News reminds us of this most important Rule of News Reporting from A must to be sort objective Lens: God Is Sovereign! Take that away from every news report(ing), and there is only chaos- no meaning soever to glean, it is all gloom, and depressing what you get- yet simply bring it on to every report(ing), even, the most unexplainable and fright-full pictures, suddenly wear a new and meaning-full look! This itself, proofs even this: God Is Sovereign!

Even the present day's (equivalent of) 'Mars Hill'- "where they do nothing other than listen and discuss the latest news", with all its depravity, yet one is reminded not only of God's Sovereignty, but also instructed concerning God's long-suffering and eternal Love! The Mars Hill of Social Media And All its idols upon every page and posts, yet every now and then pops a "To the Unknown God" similitude Altar, and one can almost exactly fitly say with the Apostle Paul: It is in Him (The one you call unknown God), that we move and live and have our being "even as some of your poets (and princes) have said (oft posted), for we are all His offsprings!" In these last days, the one who seeks God truly, must keep this rule in mind, not only before the traditional print media - but even now especially when and if ever one must tread the diabolic world of Mordor(ous) Athens- The Social Media! Indeed it is Apt to Echo Buyan, howbeit for a localized application of something of a broader scope: 

"...the way to the Celestial City lies just through this town where this lusty fair is kept; and he that will go to the city, and yet not go through this town, must needs go out of the world. [1 Cor. 5:10] The Prince of princes himself, when here, went through this town to his own country, and that upon a fair day too; yea, and as I think, it was Beelzebub, the chief lord of this fair, that invited him to buy of his vanities; yea, would have made him lord of the fair, would he but have done him reverence as he went through the town. [Matt. 4:8, Luke 4:5-7] Yea, because he was such a person of honour, Beelzebub had him from street to street, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a little time, that he might, if possible, allure the Blessed One to cheapen and buy some of his vanities; but he had no mind to the merchandise, and therefore left the town, without laying out so much as one farthing upon these vanities. This fair, therefore, is an ancient thing, of long standing, and a very great fair."^1

For A Moment, do take a look at whether traditional or mainstream Tv or more directly (obvious) the social media spaces, do we not see a mirror image of Buyan's Vanity Fair? with All its attendant rows? Are we not also somewhat taken from street to street and showed all the kingdoms of the world as in a little time? and this by various princes of this world? And that if possible to allure us to cheapen and buy some of the vanities thereof? But Unlike Buyan's Blessed One, we most often do mind the merchandise, and never leave the town without having laid all our farthings upon these vanities- herein ought to be victory, but alas, therein is much defeat, much arrests! Some do think, the answer should be a simple: "touch not, use not"; but the Blessed Spirit of Truth, doth rebuke:

"...[I]did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world." (1Cor. 5:9,10)

And Yes, God's ways alway is victory through defeat! Finally, in these last days, may God indeed grant unto His people, understanding of the times, that we may truly know how to relate with the News, to view everything therein, with a truly New Lens: God's Objective-Revealed Word! Hear the News, But through the Lens of the Word! To thus encourage, is this News Channel.
