ReHearsal House Announces The RH 2018 BAND

Following the commencement of the 2nd stage programs for the Applied Musical year 2018, the ReHearsal House Home School of Applied Music, is set to inaugurate the 2018 Students Band. Band Auditions will hold on Friday, March 2nd @2:45pm and on Saturday March 3rd, 2018 @12:00pm.

Auditions have been arranged into the following category:

1. Band Membership:

This section of the Audition is an interview, providing intending Band Members the opportunity to formally indicate interest in joining the band, as well as state officially their desired commitments/roles in the band. This interview applies to all members of the band: vocalists and instrumentalists.

2. Audition for Instrumentalists:

Students who can play any instruments from: Piano, Keyboards, Guitars, Percussion, Beat box, Violin, Recorder, Trumpet, etc are auditioned into the Instrumental division of the Band. This category of audition is only for such students who can play, at least averagely on any of the listed or non-listed instruments.

3. Soloists:
This category of the Audition is for those interested in leading solos during a band performance/presentation. Interest in a category do not guarantee qualification into that category, as Auditions only determine whether a person gets picked into any category or not.

4. Back-ups: Male and Female category:

This Audition is for the sole purpose of picking the back-up singers for the band, and is divided into two categories: the male and the female.

5. Band Manager:

This Aspect, which takes the form of an interview, is for the selection of such who would steer the managerial position of the band.

6. Lead Singers:

This Audition is for such as would be interested in taking the lead vocals for any performance.

7. Harmony:

Here the Audition is on vocal parts, so that each student is auditioned into one/more of the following vocal categories: Soprano, Mezzo, Contralto, Tenor, Baritone and Bass.

8. Musical directing/Arranging:

This role is reserved for musical directing students.

9. Videography/Photography:

This aspect of the Audition is for such as Would be in charge of the video and photo making of the band.


The RH 2018 Band kicks off operations from the month of March, 2018.
